This Privacy Policy explains how we, (“DocOnline”, “Company”, “we”, “us”) collect, use, share, and protect personal information about our users (“Users” or “you”) who subscribe to our Services, which may be availed through DocOnline’s website (www.doconline.com) ("Website”), DocOnline mobile application (DocOnline-Online Doctor Consultation App) and telephone (collectively the "Platform”). We want to assure you that we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If there are any capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy that are not defined, please refer to our Terms of Service for their meanings.
BY CONFIRMING YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, EITHER BY USING THE SERVICES OR PROVIDING US WITH YOUR INFORMATION, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO OUR PRACTICES AND POLICIES OUTLINED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. YOU ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY AT ANY TIME, AT OUR SOLE DISCRETION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OR PROVIDE US WITH ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION. 1 WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE THIS PRIVACY POLICY?
This Privacy Policy sets out DocOnline’s commitment to ensure the security and privacy of the information that is collected from the Users, the purpose, means and modes of collection, usage, processing, retention, and destruction of such information.
2 COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
To provide you with the Services to the best of our ability, we collect information when you use our Services or communicate with us through emails, phone calls, or other forms of correspondence. Each of the aforesaid shall hereinafter be referred to as “Personal Information”.In order to enable payment for our Services, we use a third-party payment gateway to help us provide our Services to you such as Razorpay. All financial information collected will be through the same, and shall be provided by you in accordance with the terms and conditions and privacy policy of such third party payment gateway.
Your consent is not required for DocOnline to use, collect, and disclose Personal Information that is easily accessible in the public domain.
3 PRIVACY DISCLOSURES
All Users Note:
This section is applicable to all users.
- To use and access the Services, every User is required to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If a User has any objections to the terms, they have the option to immediately discontinue using the Services provided by DocOnline.
- The User voluntarily provides all information to DocOnline, including Personal Information. DocOnline may use such Personal Information, including without limitation, for the following purposes:

If this waiver is not effective, you further agree to release any claims against DocOnline regarding the same.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Personal Information you give us, including your contact details when you register for an account. If your Personal Information changes, you can update or correct it on our member information page or by contacting us at support@doconline.com. We will make every effort to update our databases with the requested changes as soon as possible. If you provide false, incorrect, outdated, or incomplete information (or if it becomes false, incorrect, outdated, or incomplete), DocOnline may choose to stop providing Services to you at its discretion.
- You can opt out of receiving promotional emails from DocOnline by contacting us at support@doconline.com.
- To cancel your account or stop us from using your Personal Information, please email us at contact@doconline.com. We will keep your Personal Information as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services. If you have registered on the Platform to avail Services, we will retain the Personal Information provided by you for a period of 180 days post cancellation or withdrawal of your registration. In any case, we will not keep your Personal Information longer than necessary or required by law.
- To stop receiving non-essential messages like promotions and marketing information about our services, you can email us at support@doconline.com.
- DocOnline may ask the User to pay for Services using a credit card, UPI, debit card. The User's credit card number and other financial information will be collected by DocOnline for billing and payment purposes. This information may also be shared with third parties as necessary for billing operations. However, the User is solely responsible for verifying their credit information through the authentication process. The User's credit card and debit card details are processed on secure sites with encryption technology. DocOnline also offers the option to not save payment details.
- When someone visits the Website, the site automatically receives the URL of the site they came from, as well as their IP address, computer operating system, web browser, email patterns, and ISP name. This information is used to analyse trends and improve the Service. The connection between a user's IP address and their Personal Information is not shared with third parties.
- The Website utilizes temporary cookies to store specific data (which is not sensitive personal data or Personal Information) for the technical management of the Website, research and development, and User administration. While serving advertisements or improving services for Users, DocOnline may permit authorized third parties to place or identify a unique cookie on the User's browser. - Users can access the Website/Mobile application and schedule appointments with doctors even without creating an account. However, to enjoy all the features and benefits of our Platform, Users must create an account. During the registration process, Users need to provide Personal Information such as their name, User ID, email address, location, country, pin code, age, phone number, password, and, in some cases, valid financial account information. In the future, DocOnline may request more information to personalize the Platform for Users, but your consent is assumed once you complete the registration process.
- DocOnline does not gather data about the visitors of the Website from external sources like public records or private organizations. However, for the purpose of user registration, DocOnline may collect, use, store, and disclose certain information, which each user must agree to under the Terms of Service in order to receive the Services effectively.
- DocOnline maintains a strict "No-Spam" policy, which means that DocOnline does not intend to sell, rent or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third party without your consent.
- DocOnline has a well-established information security program and policies in place. 4 PRACTITIONERS SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION.
All medical professionals listed on the Platform to render their services to Users ("Practitioners”) are subject to this section.
- Practitioners are required to furnish specific details, such as Personal Information, when they register and develop a profile on the Platform.
- Before providing any Personal Information to DocOnline, it is mandatory for all Practitioners to read and understand this Privacy Policy. If Practitioners fail to do so, they must promptly exit the Services, including the Platform. This Privacy Policy applies to all Practitioners.
- Practitioners' Personal Information, which they provide to DocOnline, is used to help them describe and identify themselves. The Practitioners will own their own Personal Information and give consent to DocOnline to collect, use, process, and disclose it for the purposes mentioned. DocOnline may use this Personal Information for commercial purposes and for research, statistical analysis, and business intelligence in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form. DocOnline reserves the right to use the Personal Information provided by or about the Practitioner for specific purposes, including without limitation:
- Posting this Personal Information on the Platform.
- When reaching out to professionals to introduce new products or services.
- Contacting Practitioners for taking product feedback.
- Analysing software usage patterns for improving product design and utility.
- When a Practitioner is added to the Platform, their Personal Information is automatically listed on the Website. This Personal Information is displayed when users search for Practitioners on the Website and is used by users to request doctor appointments. The Personal Information of the listed practitioners is provided by the practitioners themselves or collected from the public domain. DocOnline displays this Personal Information on the Website as it is, without making any representation or warranty on its accuracy or completeness. However, DocOnline will take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of this Personal Information.
5 END-USERS NOTE
This section applies to all End-Users.
- During the registration/application process on our website/mobile application, Users are required to provide certain information, including personal data or information.
- Before sharing any personal data or information with DocOnline, it is mandatory for all End-Users to read and understand the privacy statements mentioned in this Privacy Policy. If they do not comply with this requirement, they must leave DocOnline immediately. This Privacy Policy applies to all End-Users.
- You can access, change, or delete any Personal Information provided by you to DocOnline, by contacting us at support@doconline.com and requesting them to delete and destroy all your Personal Information. Provided that, upon deletion of your Personal Information, we will no longer be able to render Services to you. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the deletion of your Personal Information as per this paragraph shall be subject to DocOnline’s obligations under law to retain any of your Personal Information for legal archival purposes for such period and to such extent as required in relation thereto.
- The information that End-Users provide on the Website is used to help them describe themselves. DocOnline collects other information that does not personally identify the End-Users and owns it exclusively. This information may be used for research, statistical analysis, and business intelligence purposes. DocOnline also reserves the right to use anonymized End-User demographics and health information for specific purposes.
- Analysing software usage patterns to enhance product design and functionality.
- Analysing this information to research and develop new technologies.
- DocOnline utilizes the analysis of this data in their other commercial product offerings.
- DocOnline will contact the End-Users via email, phone, and notifications on the website or other available means, such as text and messaging. End-Users have the option to modify their email and contact preferences by logging into their "Account" On DocOnline web application or mobile application and adjusting the account settings.
- DocOnline occasionally conducts user surveys to gather information about the preferences of end-users. These surveys are voluntary, and if end-users decide to participate, their responses will remain anonymous. Additionally, DocOnline may organize contests for eligible end-users, during which we may request contact and demographic details like name, email address, and mailing address. The demographic information collected by DocOnline through the registration process and surveys is utilized to enhance our services and cater to the requirements and preferences of end-users.
6 CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
- DocOnline stores your Personal Information electronically on its equipment, as well as on the equipment of its employees. Occasionally, this Personal Information may also be converted into physical form. DocOnline ensures the safety of your Personal Information by taking necessary precautions both online and offline. We have implemented reasonable security practices and measures, including managerial, technical, operational, and physical security controls that are appropriate for the Personal Information collected and the nature of our business.
- At DocOnline, no administrator will know your password. It's important to keep your password, computer, and mobile phone safe from unauthorized access. DocOnline is not responsible for any unauthorized use of your account and password. If you suspect any unauthorized activity, please notify DocOnline immediately by emailing support@doconline.com. You will be held responsible for any losses incurred by DocOnline due to unauthorized use of your account and password.
- DocOnline ensures that only employees, partners, who require access have the ability to view Personal Information. Additionally, all individuals with access are obligated to maintain strict confidentiality.
- DocOnline helps Practitioners in managing and organizing medical information. DocOnline may share these records with the relevant Practitioners who require such records for the purpose of rendering their services.
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, DocOnline shall not be held responsible for the privacy, protection, or sharing of your Personal Information by Practitioners or other third parties. Additionally, DocOnline will not be held responsible for any security breaches or actions taken by third parties that are beyond our control, such as government actions, computer hacking, unauthorized access to computer data and storage devices, computer crashes, security breaches and encryption, or poor-quality internet or telephone service for the user.
7 PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES
- DocOnline reserves the right to update its Privacy Policy at any time, with or without notice. If there are any significant changes to how DocOnline handles your Personal Information or to the Privacy Policy itself, DocOnline will notify you through the Website or email. You can review the updated terms before continuing to use the Services. If you disagree with the changes and no longer want to use the Services, you can deactivate your account by contacting support@doconline.com. Unless stated otherwise, the current Privacy Policy applies to all the Personal Information DocOnline has about you and your account.

8 PRIVACY FOR CHILDREN AND MINORS
If, in the process of rendering the Services, we happen need to collect personal data of minors, i.e., individuals under the age of 18, we will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations regarding protection of personal data of minors. 12 DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of any dispute, difference or claim arising out of this Privacy Policy the same shall be settled in accordance with the laws of India through regular judicial process and the courts of Bangalore, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
